Year 11 Celebrate GCSE Results

It has been fantastic to see the Year 11 cohort at Arnold Hill Spencer Academy collect their GCSE results this morning, congratulations to all students. The effort and aspirational drive of the students and teachers has led to results that students, families and the academy are extremely proud of.

The overall result is exceedingly positive and is filled with individual successes that mean students can choose their next steps in education; staying on to complete A Levels, branching out and attending college or taking up apprenticeship opportunities throughout Nottinghamshire.

Congratulations to Izzy Dove, who gained 5 and above in all subjects, “I am very pleased with my results and happy to be able to move on”.

 

Congratulations to Ben Taylor who achieved 9s across the board, “I am very happy”.

 

Congratulations to Holly Smart who gained 9s in Art, History, Maths and Music, 8s in English Literature and Triple Science, and a 7 in English Language, “Really pleased with my results, so excited to start my A Levels at High Pavement”.

 

Congratulations to Daniel Hanlon who achieved 9s in BPE, English Language, English Literature, History and Spanish, an 8 in Maths and 7s in Triple Science, “I’m most pleased with my results and now feel confident about attending Sixth Form and pursuing a degree at University”.

 

Congratulations to Millie Gorey, who gained a 9 in Dance, 7s in English Literature, History and Maths, 6s in English Language and Music, and 7/6/6 in Triple Science.
